Refund policy
How registration cancellations and payment corrections are handled.
Effective July 28, 2026
Before the event
Refund eligibility depends on the event's published refund cutoff, the reason for cancellation, and whether non-refundable costs have been disclosed. Submit requests before the cutoff whenever possible.
Waitlisted registrations
Payment is not requested while a registration remains waitlisted. Declining a waitlist offer withdraws the registration. If an exceptional payment was collected for an unfilled place, event staff will review it for correction.
Processing
Approved card refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Processing time after approval is controlled by Stripe and the participant's financial institution.
Credits and waivers
Coupons, sponsor credits, passes, and waived entries are not cash payments and are not refunded as cash. An incorrect application may be corrected in the CompOS ledger.
